As the first quarter of 2021 has wrapped up, we've taken a look at the performance of the top dining and restaurant apps in the United States on unified platforms, thanks to the data provided by Sensor Tower. Here's how these apps have fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

McDonald's started the quarter with approximately 300 thousand downloads in the last week of December and saw a minor fluctuation throughout the quarter, ending with nearly 300 thousand downloads in the last week of March. Weekly active users began at over 4 million and showed an overall increasing trend, peaking at over 5 million in late March before a slight drop.

Starbucks observed a gradual decrease in downloads from 200 thousand in the final week of December to around 200 thousand by the end of March. The app's active users saw a decline from over 4 million to approximately 3.8 million in early February, followed by a recovery to nearly 4.8 million at the beginning of March.

Yelp: Food, Delivery & Reviews showed a steady performance in downloads, starting at about 200 thousand and slightly increasing to over 200 thousand by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users for Yelp saw a significant rise, starting at around 7 million and growing to 8 million by the end of March.

Chick-fil-A experienced varied download numbers, with a peak of over 200 thousand in mid-January, dipping to 150 thousand in mid-February, and stabilizing around 160 thousand by March end. The app's weekly active users remained relatively constant, starting at over 2 million and ending the quarter around the same figure.

Domino's Pizza USA saw its downloads begin at around 200 thousand and end the quarter with an increase to over 200 thousand. The weekly active users displayed a slight downward trend from nearly 3 million at the beginning of the quarter to around 2.7 million by the end of March.
